Christopher (Chris) Allen Gosnell Passed Away

5812feba24795-imageChristopher (Chris) Allen Gosnell, 54 passed away in his home of a heart attack on Oct 4, 2016.

He was born Sept 12, 1962 and was raised in Issaquah by his parents Gene & Colleen Gosnell.

He played baseball & football from age 7 through high school, then graduated.

After that he joined the US Marine Corps and went over-seas to Korea, Okinawa & the Philippines. Most of his 7 years, 1981 – 1987 was served there.

After the service he worked at a few different printing companies in the bindery department.

He met his wife, Lori at Kaye Smith BS Graphics in 1999. They were married in 2005 and enjoyed camping together along with her son and their dogs.

They mostly enjoyed going to the ocean where everyone enjoyed the beach. He also enjoyed fishing, golfing and hunting.

He loved living out in Hobart, where the elk herd would travel through and bed down in the field.

He was currently employed at Untied Natural Foods, Inc. in Auburn.

His life ended much too soon as he and Lori had plans to travel the US after retirement, visiting the National Parks and all that this beautiful country and nature had to offer camping along the way.

He is survived by his wife, Lori (Miller) Goshell, step-son, J. Trevor Hall, mother, Colleen Gosnell, father Gene Gosnell, step-mother, Shirley, sister- Corie Gosnell and mother in-law, Evelyn Miller.

Services will be held at Tahoma National Cemetery on Friday, November 4, 2016 at 12:30 p.m.

A celebration of Chris’s life immediately following at the Hobart Community Church, 27524 SE 200th Street, Maple Valley, WA 98038.

Chris will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him, including his dog, Cocoa.
