Carl Scammon, age 48, passed away on Monday, July 25, 2016 at his home in Hobart, Washington.

He was born on June 19,1968 in Burien, Washington. Carl spent his childhood and adult life as a resident of Maple Valley and Hobart. After a lifelong battle to find peace within our world, Carl made the decision to take his life.

He is survived by his two loving daughters; Kayla and Cara Scammon, the mother of his children; Carleena Scammon, his sister; Gwen More, brother-in-law; Mike More, half-sisters; Carla Huebler and Marla Suter, half-brother; Robert Huebler and many other loving relatives and friends.

He was the son of and preceded in death by Alicia and Robert Scammon.

Carl graduated from Tahoma High School in 1986. He was a UPS driver for over 20 years.

Carl enjoyed hunting, fishing, NASCAR, and spending time with his family and dogs. He will always be remembered for his quick wit, helpful nature, kind heart, fun loving attitude, and ability to always have a good time.

We believe that he has now found peace with his parents and his beloved golden retriever Tucker, by his side.

A memorial service was held at the Hobart Community Church on Thursday, July 28, 2016.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Carl’s name to afsp.org – suicide prevention.
