Ordinance No. O-17-615, creating three new classifications within the Community Development/Public Works Department and the Park & Recreation Department, reclassifying two incumbent personnel and amending Ordinance No. 16-596, by amending the 2017-2018 salary schedule to add these new classifications and salary ranges commensurate with the new classifications. Passed 7-0
Resolution No. R-17-1143 authorizing the City Manager to execute a Real Estate Purchase and Sale Agreement with King County for Cedar Downs Division 3 Outfall aka Tract I. Passed 7-0
Resolution No. R-17-1145, authorizing the City Manager to execute an
amendment to the Interlocal Agreement for Animal Services with King County. Passed 7-0
Metropolitan King County Council
Monday, March 27 – Unanimously approved the September 2017 public transportation service changes for King County (Ordinance 2017-0087).
Accepted the report on the Best Starts for Kids youth and family homelessness prevention initiative lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgendered and queer awareness training contract (Motion 2017-0038).
Unanimously approved the appointments of: Marlla Mhoon, Covington Councilmember, as an alternate member of the King County Flood Control Zone District advisory committee, representing the Sound Cities Association (Motion 2017-0128). Tom Odell, Sammamish Councilmember, and Henry Sladek, Skykomish Councilmember, were also appointed.
