Black Diamond

On October 21 at 7:08 p.m. on the Black Diamond/Ravensdale Rd. SE, officers were dispatched to a possible injury accident. Upon arriving in the area along with the fire department, no one was able to locate the vehicle. Further info was requested, and it was learned this occurred in unincorporated King County and that they just wanted help looking even though they didn’t dispatch any of their own units. Unable to locate a vehicle, officers cleared the area and referred the incident back to King County.

On October 17 at approximately 7:10 p.m. on the 22400 block of SE 297th St., officers responded to a two-car blocking injury collision. Fire removed the injured party from their vehicle and transported them to the hospital. Vehicles were removed from the roadway with officers clearing the scene 2 hours later.

On October 17 at 1:05 p.m. on the 32800 block of Railroad Ave., officers were dispatched to a business for a theft of vehicle services. Officers located the vehicle and contacted the suspect, who had left the scene with the vehicle. The incident was determined to be a civil dispute over the suspect being unhappy about services. The suspect volunteered to go back with the officer to pay the amount owed. The owner wanted the suspect trespassed as well. No criminal charges pending.

Covington

On October 28 at 12:41 p.m. on the 17400 block of SE 270th Pl., a suspect was observed entering a vehicle, taking an item out and then putting it into another vehicle. Upon contact, the male stated he was not prowling any cars. He stated that at the request of a friend, he had retrieved a box of dog food from a friend’s vehicle. Check of the male revealed a warrant. Search of the male revealed a tin that the male said contained “crystal.” The male also had a shaved key. The male was booked into King County Jail on his warrants. He was also recommended for charges of Criminal Attempt.

On October 28 at 12:35 on the 19800 block of SE 240th St, a driver was observed flashing the high beams of a vehicle as he drove along. After making a quick stop, the driver quickly accelerated. Upon contact, a strong odor of intoxicants could be detected coming from inside the vehicle. However, the male denied drinking any alcohol. When asked if he would volunteer to do the Field Sobriety Tests, the male said no. The male’s vehicle was impounded, and he gave breath samples of .048/.046. The male stated he had been driving all day and was just tired. He also stated he was driving his wife’s vehicle and that it was not intentional that there were issues with the high beams. The male was released at home pending review of the case and possible filing of charges for DUI.

On October 23 at 10:37 a.m. on the 17400 block of SE 270th Pl., a suspicious person was contacted in a business parking lot for picking up receipts in order to possibly make fraudulent returns to a business. After talking with the suspect, he was released. Another known male exited the business looking for his buddy. Check of that male revealed he had a warrant for Civil Contempt of Court. The male was booked into King County Jail on his warrant.

King County

On October 27 between 12:01-4:30 a.m. on the 17600 block of 152nd Pl. SE, someone entered an unsecured vehicle parked in a driveway and used a garage door opener from the vehicle to enter a locked garage. Stolen property from the vehicle included the garage remote and duck caller.

On October 26 at 12:33 p.m. in the area of SE Petrovitsky Rd. and Parkside Way, a male driver was observed approaching a school zone at 50 mph in a 20 mph zone. The driver sped away and eventually crashed his vehicle. After crashing the vehicle, the male exited and attempted to flee through a nearby woods while leaving his female passenger at the scene. The male was stopped and returned to the site. The vehicle, which had been stolen, was totaled. A bag of suspected narcotics was found inside the vehicle. Check of the male revealed he his license was Revoked, 2nd degree and that there was a no contact order between him and the female. The female was transported to a hospital for treatment and the male booked into SCORE (South Correctional Entity) for investigation of Eluding, felony court order violation, Possession of Stolen Property, and Violation of the Uniform Controlled Substance Act.

On October 26 between 6 a.m.-5:36 p.m. on the 22900 block of 283rd Ave. SE, someone stole an unlocked vehicle with a set of keys left inside. The vehicle’s tabs were expired.

On October 25 at 6 a.m. on the 14500 block of SE 188th Way, a male left his vehicle running while at a gas station so he could run into the store. Meanwhile, someone entered the vehicle and drove off with it. After being driven around, the vehicle was parked in a driveway. The vehicle was impounded.

On October 23 at 8:12 a.m. on the 18800 block of SE 164th St., a female parent was told a bus would not be stopping by her house anymore and that the children were to proceed to a designated pick-up location. The next day, a male parent was contacted by officers when he attempted to stop the bus. The following day, both male and female parents were standing in the middle of the roadway with the bus stopping for safety reasons. While the male came around and began cussing at the driver, the female instructed the children to bang on the door to let them in. However, the driver refused and told the parents to take the children to a designated stop. The male was contacted and told he would be cited for Disorderly Conduct. It was also discovered that he had a warrant and was booked into the Regional Justice Center on his warrant. The female was also contacted and told she would be cited for Disorderly Conduct.

On October 21 between 3 p.m. and 10 a.m. of October 22 on the 28800 block of SE 224th St., a motorcycle and mini bike were stolen from an unsecured shed. The motorcycle had a cable lock on it that was cut.

Maple Valley

On October 23 at 1:30 a.m. on the 26900 block of SR 169, three suspects were observed stealing alcohol. Upon arrival, officers learned that the female had fled on foot and the vehicle was on the move. When the driver was stopped, the male passenger exited and fled. Check of the area ended with negative results for finding the male and female. The driver was trespassed.

On October 22 at 2:38 p.m. on the 22000 block of SE 271st Pl., a female suspect with an Anti-Harassment Order against her from another female began texting the other female using vulgar language. After two days of the texts from the suspect, the female contacted law enforcement about the messages. A report was sent to the prosecutor with charges of Violation of Civil Anti-Harassment Order against the suspect.

On October 14 at 7:12 a.m. in the area of SE 275th Pl. and 228th Ave. SE, it was reported that the driver of a vehicle attempted to get around a property gate, but hit the gate before going off into a ditch. Several opened cans of alcohol were observed in the unoccupied vehicle. As tow was on the way, a parent showed up and explained that the daughter was driving home behind a friend and somehow ended up in the ditch.
