Black Diamond

On February 11 at 10:47 p.m. on the 31600 block of 3rd Ave., an officer conducted a traffic stop where a 33-year old male driver was found to have been driving under the influence of alcohol. He blew a Portable Breath Test reading of .102. The vehicle was impounded, and the suspect booked into Enumclaw Jail.

On February 10 at 11:25 p.m. on the 30800 block of 228th Ave. SE, officers stopped a driver for multiple equipment and traffic violations. After investigation, the 65-year old female driver was arrested for DUI after blowing a Portable Breath Test of .145.

On February 9 at approximately 8:03 p.m. on the 32500 block of Main St., officers were dispatched to a threat with weapons. Upon arrival, officers conducted a high risk stop on the suspect vehicle and arrested two suspects. Search of the suspects revealed paraphernalia on the passenger of the vehicle. The vehicle was impounded. Victims decided they did not want to pursue/press charges. The driver was released, and the passenger cited and released.

Covington

On February 8 at 7 p.m. on the 27100 block of 172nd Ave. SE, a known male walked into a business and locked himself in a bathroom stall. At one point, the staff checked the bathroom due to the length of time the male was in it and found him on the floor. Upon contact, the male appeared extremely high and admitted to being high on a drug. The male declined any assistance and was trespassed from the business. The male was given some water and snacks before leaving on foot.

On February 8 at 8:22 a.m. 18600 block of SE 265th St., two males and a female were observed walking from a residence down a trail into a park with various items in their possession. Upon contact, check of the individuals revealed one of the males had a warrant and the female three warrants. The male was booked into Kent Jail on his warrant and the female into SCORE (South Correctional Entity) on her warrants.

On February 6 between midnight and 7:19 a.m. on he 26400 block of 195th Pl. SE, someone opened an unlocked vehicle and stole ear buds, shoes, sunglasses, weather gear and workout clothes. According to the owner, it is the second time the vehicle had been broken into. The owner’s jacket was observed hanging in a tree and retrieved.

King County
On February 10 at 28000 block of 203rd Ave. SE, deputies went to a residence for a warrant suspect. The male was arrested for an out of state warrant for Attempt of Heroin Delivery. Check of the female in the residence revealed she had a warrant for Driving While License Suspended, 3rd degree. The male was booked into King County Jail for his warrant, and the female booked into SCORE on her warrant.

On February 8 between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m. of February 9 on the 24100 block of 168th Ave. SE, it was reported that someone damaged a plastic dinosaur that was bolted to the ground on the corner of a property. The dinosaur had been illuminated making it easier for people to see.

On February 6 between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m. of February 7 on the 29700 block of 216th Pl. SE, two unlocked vehicles were prowled overnight.

On February 5 at 11:15 a.m. on the 15200 block of SE 178th Pl., an unknown juvenile was observed on an electric scooter stopped at a resident’s driveway. The male was opening the mailbox and grabbing a bunch of mail before fleeing the scene.

On February 3 between 4 p.m. and 10 a.m. of February 5 on the 29300 block of 179th Pl. SE, someone unbolted the actuator arm of an electronic gate, drove onto the property and proceeded to vandalize planes. Two planes had their windows smashed out. Vehicles on the property were also vandalized.

On February 3 at 5 a.m. in the area of SE 170th St. and 136th Pl. SE, deputies were alerted that a suspicious female was going back and forth from her vehicle possibly taking packages from houses. Upon contact, the female gave a false story as to what she was doing. Check of the female revealed she had warrants. The female was booked into SCORE on her warrants.

Maple Valley

On February 11 at 6 p.m. on the 26700 block of Maple Valley/Black Diamond Rd. SE, a suspicious male walked into a business with a bag while talking on the phone. After briefly walking around the business, he walked over to a shelf where he used his arm to wipe the shelf clear of multivitamins into the bag. When he finished, he threatened the clerk before leaving the business.

On February 11 between 12:01-7 a.m. on the 27200 block of 212th Ave. SE, a resident went outside in the morning to find that her vehicle had been stolen. She stated that where she had come from she had always left her keys in her unlocked vehicle.

On January 31 at 8:25 p.m. on the 23300 block of SR 169, a female was observed taking two t-shirts into the bathroom of a business and when she returned, she did not have the shirts. Since the thought was that the female meant to steal the shirts, the cost was merely added on to the credit card of a member of the group she was with.
