Need Help from Washington State Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS)? 

Wednesday, January 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30, 12pm
The Department of Social and Health Services is a lifeline providing the basics of daily living to Washington residents who are in need of some assistance. DSHS and its partners provide protection, comfort, food assistance, cash assistance and a host of other services.

No appointment necessary.

Terminal Illness and Caregiver Support

A Workshop for Cancer Patients and Family Members
Saturday, January 5, 1:30pm
In this workshop, Enumclaw author Anitra Simmons author of Embracing Life from Death, describes lessons she learned as a caregiver for her husband during his battle with terminal cancer.

Topics include: different approaches to medical treatment, discussing important decisions, supporting loved ones, preparing for loss of a loved one, retaining perspective, handling issues of everyday life, and dealing with grief and financial issues.

Books will be available for purchase.

Reach Enumclaw is a free legal clinic open to all local residents on a first come, first served basis.

Washington attorneys will meet with clients via the Internet for a half hour to consult on legal issues.

Let’s celebrate your amazing ideas for programs and events that bring us together. We invite every individual, group or business in Enumclaw to share your ideas for a chance to become a 2019 Community Creator.

Local librarians will select winning submissions then partner with you to sponsor and develop your program so we can bring it to the community for FREE.

Submit a paper entry to the Enumclaw Library or enter online by January 31 for a chance to have your idea brought to life!
