Tahoma XC won all 4 races at their NPSL Sub-District Meet on Saturday, October 22nd. Both JV and varsity, girls and boys, won their divisions. Tahoma XC finished the dual meet season 5-0 and claimed league champions for the 6th straight year for boys and 9th straight year for the girls.

In the JV girls race, 9 Tahoma runners placed in the top 10. Moira Woods won, followed by Aubrey Dillon (2nd), Karina Houser (3rd), Hannah Fitzpatrick (4th), Mikayla Kay (5th), Lillia Adams (6th), Hannah Davis (8th), Madeline Nielsen (9th), and Heather Newman(10th).

The boys JV also did an exceptional job, placing 4 Tahoma boys in the top 10. Evan Mickelson came in 2nd, followed by Kaleb Granger (3rd), then Matthew Bruneel (9th), and Brandon Ho (10th).

Varsity Girls pulled out another win at the League Meet. The 1st Team All-League consisted of Breanna Glover (who won the 4A varsity girls race), Melinda Day, and Katarina Zosel. Making 2nd Team All-League were Phoenix Aguilar, Mattilyn Hohn, and Kayla Contreras. Breanna Glover was titled Girl Athlete of the Year.

The Tahoma boys also won. Earning 1st Team All-League honors were Dawson Besst (who won the 4A varsity boys race) Colton Egberg, Brian Martinez, Ethan Martin, and Chandler Nill. The 2nd Team All-League was Devon Walters and Kobe Shields. Dawson Best was labeled Boy Athlete of the Year.

The Tahoma XC High School team, both boys and girls, have a very bright future ahead of them this year. Both teams have advanced to Districts, and very likely they will be advancing to State. Currently, both boys and girls are ranked in the top 10 in State. Last year the boys won the State Title, and are hoping to do the same this season.
