The Black Diamond & Maple Valley Community Centers will be hosting simultaneous volunteer registrations and complimentary breakfasts starting at 8 AM on Saturday, October 28TH 2017; Although walk-ins are welcome, The Make a Difference Day Committee recommends that anyone interested in volunteering to please pre-register themselves or their group by contacting the Greater Maple Valley Community Center at (425) 432-1272.
There is a great deal of meaningful projects to participate in this year, which will include work serving locations throughout the community including the GMVCC, BDCC, Maple Valley Foodbank, Maple Valley Arboretum, and Lake Wilderness Park, among others.
This year’s Make a Difference Day Committee is organized by Ankie Stroes and Fritz Gottfried (both attached) and is a collaboration between the Rotary Club of Maple Valley, GMVCC, BDCC, the city of Maple Valley, and the City of Black Diamond.
