**Update** Son believed to have shot parents in murder-suicide

Summary– Detectives investigating the apparent double murder-suicide in Sammamish said the investigation is still ongoing but all indications at this point are that the adult son killed his parents and then himself.

 

Story- The bodies were found in a house in the 24000 block of NE 30th Pl in Sammamish on Saturday evening after deputies did a welfare check.  All three had been shot in the head and a gun was found at the scene.

 

Detectives have not released a motive for the shooting as the investigation is still ongoing.

 

The King County Medical Examiner will release the names of the deceased once their identities have been confirmed.

 

Just after 7pm on Saturday, November 18, deputies responded to a house in the 24000 block of NE 30 Pl to check the welfare of a man who did not show up for an appointment earlier in the day.   When deputies arrived they found the house locked but could see three bodies lying on the floor through an open window.

Deputies forced entry into the house and discovered two adult men and an adult woman dead on the floor.  Deputies also found a gun near the bodies.   A couple and their adult son live at the house and are believed to be the deceased.

The King County Medical Examiner will determine cause and manner of death and will make positive identifications before releasing the names of the deceased.
