For all you drivers and crews, Bring It!

If you’re not into High School racing then Saturday May 5th might be more to your liking.  It is the Swift Tool ET #3 in the series of the top racers in the Northwest.  Also there will be the EF-65 Junior ET #4 series, and High School #2, and the WCSA.  Saturday’s racing will also include the 1st Annual Mark Lyle Junior Invitational, in memory of the beloved starter of Pacific Raceways for many years who went on to be the Official Starter for the National Hot Rod Association when Rick Stewart retired.  The top 5 finishers will receive trophies.  Not only are there trophies but cash awards for Winner, Runner Up and Semi.  There will also be from 9 AM to 1 PM a photo booth (thanks to Ryan Marchel) and a 32 foot Games 2U “Big Rig Mobile Gaming Theater”.  Photo booth and Gaming Theater is free to all junior drivers, non-drivers $2.00 per photo/gaming turn or $20 for an all event wristband.  Gate times are from 7 AM to 3:30 PM and spectator tickets are $15.00.  That sounds like the making for a great day of activities on and off the strip, but there is one more thing.  The BB Funny Car Association will be on hand to make Test and Tunes runs getting ready for their 2018 season.  Make sure you have your earplugs, as it will be getting loud.  There is a lot of racing for this coming weekend and if you need any more information on either day’s events then check out www.pacificraceways.com.  You don’t want to miss this one to start your 2018 Racing Season.
