Soos Creek Botanical Garden, a free-entry 23 acre lovely stroll garden, at 29308-132nd Ave SE, Auburn (just 2 minutes from Kent Kangley Rd.) cordially invites the community to a commemoration of the 100thanniversary of WW1 on Saturday, August 11th, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
A fun day of family activities is planned, including: 11 a.m. Free Tour; 12 noon box lunches for purchase (or bring your picnic–no alcohol, please); 12:30 p.m. songs of WW1; and 1 p.m. historical re-enactment of WW1 ambulance driver in uniform as portrayed by Ms. Tames Alan.
An original WW1 uniform will be on display. All active and retired military are especially invited to share this anniversary, and are welcome to wear their uniform or any part of it.
