Dee Israel currently serves as secretary for Black Diamond Historical Society. She filled a special role as 2018 Grand Marshal of the annual Labor Day Parade. Others honored by special recognition were: Craig Goodwin, Citizen of the Year; Kevin Esping, Civil Servant; Rainbow Girls, Community Service Group; Frank Rinehart, Individual Community Service; and Keith Hutchison, Business of the Year.
