Troop Cadettes Eva Grady, Yasmine Mikos and Anna Meyers, and Juniors Abby Grady, Avery Ehrhart, Myranda Rice and Shelby Meyers dedicated their time for Make a Difference Day by planting new native plants on the Tribal Life Trail, which features plants historically used by Native Americans in the pacific northwest for food, medicine, ceremony, clothing and utility. The Girl Scout Troop expanded the Trail’s selection of plants for their contribution to the annual event. The Maple Valley Rotary contributed to the project by providing the troop with breakfast on the morning of the event.

Make a Difference Day is a national, annual community service event which is held on the fourth Saturday in October. Millions of people have united in the common mission to improve the lives of others.
