Black Diamond Police Reports

On Monday, 10/01/18, between 4 and 5 a.m., Officers were dispatched to the 24400 block of Terrace PL in regard to a report of a vehicle parked along the roadway, with litter next to it. Officers determined that the vehicle was legally parked, however a report was filed for information purposes due to ongoing parking problems reported in the area.

On 10/1/18, at 7:07 a.m., officers received a report of logging operations starting too early. Officers checked the area and found the logging occurring in the 33400 block of Abrams Ave. Officers contacted the business that owns the land and advised them of the municipal code with a construction start time of 7 a.m. The business agreed to abide by the municipal code.

On 10/1/18, between 2 and 3 p.m., officers responded to the 30200 block of 225 Ave SE for a residential burglary alarm. While enroute officers were advised the fire alarm was now also active. Officers arrived on scene with the fire department and found contractors had accidentally activated the alarm due to on going construction.

On Monday, 10/01/2018, about 10:05 p.m., Officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic offense in the 23900 block of Roberts DR. Upon contacting the driver, it was determined that he was suffering a medical emergency. Fire and medical units were called to the scene to evaluate the individual prior to his release to a family member.

On 10/02/18, around 6:30 p.m., Officers were dispatched to the area of the Black Diamond Library for a suspicious person. Upon arriving, officers contacted the subject and determined he lived in the area and was walking home. No crime.

On 10/04/18, at approximately 08:10 hours, Officers received a call regarding a suspicious vehicle parked in front of a residence in the 28800 block of 224th AVE SE.  Officers arrived and found an unoccupied blue Nissan with construction/landscaping equipment inside.  There was no one inside the vehicle and it appeared that the driver was conducting construction and/or landscaping duties at a residence in the neighborhood.

On 10/04/2018, at approximately 2148 hours, officers conducted a traffic stop for an equipment violations near the 23200 block of Robert DR. Upon further investigation, it was determined that the driver’s license was suspended. The driver was cited and released and the vehicle was impounded.

On 10/5/18, between 4 and 5 p.m., officers responded to the 32500 block of Mckay Lane for a suspicious subject. A subject was going to homes and asking to use their phones. Officerschecked the area but were unable to locate the subject.

On Saturday, 10/06/2018, between 9 and 9:40 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a request for assistance to an outside agency regarding a no contact order that had been issued out of the Black Diamond Municipal Court. Officers were able to provide information regarding the orders to the agency, allowing them to determine a crime had been committed.

On Sunday, 10/07/2018, Officers were dispatched to confirm an arrest warrant on a subject being detained by the King County Sheriff’s Department. The subject was booked into jail by Deputies without incident.

On 10/7/18, between 3 and 4 p.m., Officers were on patrol in the 29500 block of 224 AVE SE when they found a vehicle speeding. The vehicle was stopped and officers found the license plate on the vehicle had been switched. The driver had a suspended drivers license and marijuana open in his pocket. The driver was arrested and booked into jail.
