Lincoln Home Services Accepting Nominations for Vet Heroes to win up to $2,500 in home improvement services

Joe and Jen Santiago, of Lincoln Home Services LLC, are giving back to their local community with a Veteran’s Day drawing that will give up to $2,500 in repairs or home improvements to a qualifying local veteran.

Lincoln Home Services is a Maple Valley contracting company specializing in renovations, additions and home improvement for residential, multi-family and commercial properties. They chose to focus on giving back to their local community first, but hope to expand to neighboring communities in the future, according to a video posted to their Facebook page. Helping veterans is a cause that means a lot to them.

“We’re very patriotic. We come from backgrounds of military,” says Jen in the video. “My dad was a Vietnam Vet. […] I’ve been waiting a long time to help veterans. Now that we’ve opened our business, we have an opportunity to help at least one person, and maybe more in the future.”

Joe and Jen are looking to help a veteran in need by completing repairs in their home that they cannot afford, or may not be able to complete themselves due to mobility or other issues. The veteran who is chosen will be eligible to win up to $2,500 in home improvements.

They’re asking the public to email them with nominations of local veterans that would be good candidates for the service, and the reason for the nomination. “We want to know their story,” says Jen.

The program is open to anyone currently in the military or has ever served in the military. In order for a veteran to qualify, nominations must be via email, to lincolnhomesvs@gmail.com.

They have asked that all nominations be in by November 10.

Jen and Joe are also offering a drawing for Lincoln Home Services buckets for anyone who likes and shares their video. Click here to view the video on their Facebook page.
