Black Diamond Police Reports 11/19-11/30, 2018

On Monday, 11/19/2018, Officers were dispatched to the 31100 block of 3rd AVE in regard to a report of fraudulent use of a credit card. Officers gathered information, and an investigation is underway.

On Monday, 11/19/2018, between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m., Officers were requested to respond to a phone request for information regarding a dispute. Officers were able to determine that the matter as described was civil in nature and advised the individuals accordingly.

On 11/21/2018, between 4:18 and 4:30 p.m., an officer received a complaint from a citizen regarding a black unmarked Ford Explorer conducting traffic stops on SR 169 near the Kummer Bridge. The patrol car was found to be a WSP Trooper and not a Black Diamond Officer.

On 11/20/18, at approximately 4:30 p.m., Officers were informed that a subject was complaining about multiple vehicles parked at the end of 1st AVE on the City right of way with expired tabs. Officers verified and contacted the owner of the vehicles and found that one of the five vehicles parked on the City right of way had expired tabs. The owner of the vehicle stated that she will license the vehicle immediately.  Officers then updated the reporting person of the situation.

On 11/23/18, at approximately 3:28 p.m., Black Diamond Officers were dispatched to a suspicious vehicle in the 31500 block of 3rd AVE. Officers arrived on scene and located a vehicle matching the description provided by dispatch. Contact was made with two individuals who stated they were just passing through the area. At the request of a local business, Officers advised them that there was no overnight parking and cleared the scene.

On Saturday, 11/24/2018, about 11:55 p.m., Officers stopped a vehicle in the 30400 block of 3rd AVE for a speed violation. Subsequent investigation determined that the 21 year old, male driver was under the influence of intoxicants, had a license status of suspended in the 2nd degree, and was unlawfully carrying a firearm. The driver was arrested and the vehicle impounded pending a search warrant.

On Saturday, 11/24/2018, between 6 p.m. and midnight, Officers were dispatched to the 28800 block of 216th AVE SE in regard to a report of a vehicle theft. Officers took a report, and the vehicle was entered as stolen. The vehicle was located nearby later in the day.

On 11/24/18, between 10 and 11 a.m., officers responded to the 30800 block of 229 PL SE for a physical domestic incident between a male and female. The female was found to be the aggressor, and was arrested and booked into jail.

On 11/24/18, about 7:30 p.m., at approximately 1937 hours, Black Diamond Officers were advised of a suspicious report to be taken by phone. Officers contacted the reporting party and were advised that her boyfriend had left to a local business approximately three hours ago to pick something up and had not returned. Shortly after speaking with the reporting party officers were advised that the subject had been located.

On 11/25/18, between 7 and 8 p.m., officers responded to assist the fire department with an overdose in the 31300 block of 3rd Ave. The subject was transported to the hospital for treatment.

On 11/29/2018, at approximately 8:20 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 30400 block of 227th PL SE regarding report of a male subject that had overdosed on heroin. When officers arrived the subject was breathing and conscious.

Medical responder evaluated the subject and transported him to Valley Medical Center for further evaluation.

On 11/30/18, between 9 and 11 p.m. officers were notified of a power pole on fire in the 25500 block of Lawson St. Officers found the top of the power pole on fire and a live powerline was hanging down. Officers blocked the roadway until PSE was able to arrive and turn off the power supply.
