Black Diamond Police Reports: 4/1-4/21, 2019

On Monday, 04/01/2019, Officers were dispatched to the 29200 block of 216th AVE SE in regard to a report of an assault that occurred during a domestic dispute. The 27 year old male suspect was taken into custody after an investigation and booked into King County Jail.

On 4/2/2019, an officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 27600 block of 216th AVE SE. The driver was found to be driving with a suspended driver’s license. The driver was cited and released, with the vehicle being impounded. The passenger was advised and released on an arrest warrant issued by Kirkland PD.

On 04/02/2019, Black Diamond PD confirmed a misdemeanor warrant for DWLS 3rd on a subject who was being released from the Regional Justice Center. The subject was transported to SCORE where he was booked on the warrant

On 4/6/19, at approximately 1656 hours, Black Diamond Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 25100 block of Roberts DR. Officers discovered the driver, a 37 year old female, had a felony warrant out of King County Sheriffs Office. The subject was arrested, transported, and booked into King County Jail.

On 4/7/2019, an officer stopped a vehicle for a speed violation in the 23600 block of Roberts Drive. The driver was found to be driving with a suspended license. He was cited and released for DWLS 3rd degree, and the vehicle was impounded.

On 04/10/19, at approximately 09:40 hours, Officers received a call from Valley Communication Radio regarding a two- vehicle collision at Roberts DR and 3rd AVE. Officers arrived at the scene and conducted a traffic collision investigation. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.

On 4/12/19, at approximately 1653 hours, Black Diamond Officers were dispatched to a traffic complaint regarding a motorcycle in the 32400 block of 5th AVE. Officers were unable to locate the suspect. At approximately 2014 hours Officers heard and then observed two dirt bikes cross Lawson St southbound on 5th AVE. Officers located the subjects in the 33000 block of Pacific ST. The drivers were juveniles and admitted to riding in the area of the initial complaint. The parents of both subjects were contacted and officers reported the findings to the reporting party who was happy with the result and declined to be involved further. Officers cleared the scene.

On 4/13/19, officers responded to assist Enumclaw Police and the King County Sheriffs Office with a subject who was shooting into the air. The subject was detained without incident and transported to the hospital for a mental health evaluation.

On 4/15/19, Black Diamond Officers were dispatched to a found property report. Officers met the reporting party in the 24600 block of Morgan ST and recovered a backpack. The item was brought to the police department, inventoried, and booked into evidence for safekeeping.

On 04/17/2019, at approximately 0052 hours, officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle near the 32600 block of 3rd AVE. Upon investigation, it was determined the driver of the vehicle, a 59 year old female, was under the influence of intoxicants and was required to have an ignition interlock device, which she did not. Her vehicle was impounded and she was booked into Enumclaw Jail.

On 04/17/19, at approximately 07:01 hours, Officers received a call from Valley Communication Radio regarding a parking complaint. Officers were advised that a subject called 911 to report that a white utility trailer with expired license tabs was parked in front of a house in the 30500 block of Cumberland DR. Officers arrived at the location and spoke with the owner of the trailer. The owner stated that he would have the trailer moved.

On 4/20/19 officers stopped a vehicle in the 30700 block of 3rd Avenue for expired registration. The driver, a 26 year old male, did not have any ID and provided two fake names. The driver was arrested and booked into jail for driving on a suspended license and making false statement.

On 4/21/19 officers stopped a vehicle in the 22700 block of Roberts Drive. Officers found the occupants were in a verbal dispute. One occupant had a warrant for his arrest. The suspect was arrested and booked into jail.
