U.S. Air Force Airman Brycen S. Hand graduated from basic military training

U.S. Air Force Airman Brycen S. Hand graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills. 

Airmen who complete basic training also earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Hand is the son of Scott and Carolyn McKinney Hand of Maple Valley, Washington, and Barbara Anderson of Cle Elum, Washington. He is the brother of Hailey Hand of Maple Valley, Derek Batton of Moses Lake, Washington, and Amanda Unruh of Soap Lake, Washington. He is the grandson of Ella Hand of North Bend, Washington.

The airman is a 2018 graduate of Cle Elum-Roslyn High School, Cle Elum.
