Final construction on Maple Valley Highway between Witte Road SE and SE 240th Street will begin again on Monday, April 13. This project is considered an essential safety and critical infrastructure project under the Governor’s Stay Home, Stay Safe Order.
The City’s contractor will begin pavement grinding, asphalt overlay, and permanent striping to complete the project. The work will take place from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a full road closure of SR 169 from Monday, April 13 to Tuesday, April 21. Expect traffic to be detoured to Witte Road and SE 240th Street.
