Sean Joseph Paaga was born on June 19, 1970 in Santa Ana, California. Sean passed at the age of 49 years young on Sunday, April 26, 2020 at 1:19 a.m. PST. Sean and his family were residing in Las Vegas, NV at the time of his death.
Sean was rushed to the hospital on Saturday, April 25, 2020 complaining of chest pains. From there, Sean was taken to emergency surgery to remove a blockage. Following the surgery, he was then moved to ICU where he was considered stable. Not long after being moved to ICU, Sean suffered another massive heart attack that required resuscitation. After thirty minutes of working on Sean, the efforts were unsuccessful. The Lord was calling him home.
Due to COVID-19, Sean was alone at the time of death. This weighs especially hard on his family as they were unable to be by his side.
Sean is survived by his wife Jennifer Paaga and three children: Hunter (14), Jacob (12) and daughter Makiya (8).
Sean loved life! He lived it to the fullest. Sean served his country while in the Army from 1988 to 1991, fought in the Gulf War and was later honorably discharged.
Aside from being a proud Veteran, Sean put every ounce of himself into everything he did. He took tremendous pride in his family. His children were his world and he lived for them. He was a diehard Dallas Cowboys fan, loyal to his friends, gifted at work, and a dedicated coach. Sean’s favorite pastime and accomplishment, besides being a husband and father, was coaching youth football.
He took tremendous pride in seeing young men develop into talented athletes. Sean’s eyes would light up when he spoke of his players and passion for the game.
The family is looking forward to a Celebration of Life service that will be held in the Seattle, WA area once things normalize. Instead of flowers, friends closest to Sean, have set-up a GoFund Me to help Sean’s surviving family with end of life and forward living expenses. The link can be found gf.me/u/xy3rzu.
