The City of Maple Valley announces the construction road closure along the Witte Road SE Corridor beginning Monday, July 13th through mid-November. Construction hours are scheduled daily from 7:00am to 6:00pm with lane closures and one-way alternating traffic in both directions.
The City’s project contractor, Pivetta Brothers Construction, will begin relocating the underground the utilities along Witte Road SE from SE 249th PL to SE 256th PL (see the project location map below) on Monday, July 13th. The utility installation work will last approximately four months until mid-November. Flaggers will be positioned to assist in areas with the traffic impacts.
Residents are encouraged to schedule travel plans to allow for long traffic delays along the Witte Road SE Corridor during construction hours. The Contractor has posted signs and portable message boards advising residents to use alternate routes such as SR 169 and SR 516. All local traffic will be allowed to proceed with these delays.
