Leona H. Myers Passed Away

Leona H. Myers, 90, passed away on Dec. 15, 2020, with her husband Ted L. Myers by her side. Leona was born Aug. 17, 1930, in Greeley, Colorado. She, her brother and her three sisters grew up living the farm life near Greeley. In 1951 and 1955 she earned B.A. and M.A. degrees in education. In 1951 Leona began her teaching career which lasted 40 years.

In 1955, Leona married Ted Myers and, after retiring in Indiana in 1991, they returned to live in Greeley until 2004 when they moved to Maple Valley to be near their daughter and son-in-law.  While in Washington they attended Grace Community Church in Auburn (where the memorial service will be held).

Leona is survived by her husband, Ted, and their daughter, Kathy Myers (Jeff Mergenthal) of Maple Valley and son, Terry Myers of Eagar, AZ.
