High Schools, Let’s Go Racing

This coming Saturday May 8, 2021 at the premiere racing facility in the Northwest,

Pacific Raceways will host the 51st Annual Cornwell Tools All High School Drags.

This is a great way to cheer on your school and obtain bragging rights for the year.  As always there will be head to head competition between schools to see who is the best on the strip.  All cars limited to 11 seconds or slower.  This year the winner will receive a $2,000 Cornwell Tool package.  Along with all the racing action there will be the ever popular “Burnout Contest” as well as music, food and fun.  If that is not enough excitement there will be Nitro Funny Cars and a Jet Dragster.  Special guests this year are Trevor Larkin and Kim Parker in a “Grudge Match”  along with Ralph Hubbard and Stephanie Parker, and can’t forget Tarabochia Motorsports.   The Burnout contest is $25 and is limited to the first 15 entries at the Pro Shop.  There is also the Special Alumni Class for “Kids” 25 and under not in High School.  Drag race car and driver tech card is $40.  Gates open at 12:00 PM.  Spectator tickets are just $13 bucks in advance and $15 at the gate.  While the state is still in the Covid situation and the County is currently in Phase 3 of re-opening this event is still on the schedule.  Should that change, for further information check out the web site at www.pacificraceways.com for the latest update.    So get a group together and head on out to cheer your school on to Victory Lane Saturday May 8th at Pacific Raceways.  The 2021 racing season is just getting started and there is more racing on the calendar.  Check it out.
