Black Diamond Police Reports November 1 to 6, 2021

On 11/01/2021, officers responded to the 30600 block of 3rd AVE regarding a missing person report. The reporting party advised that she had not seen her roommate since early the day prior and she had been acting erratic. A missing person report was completed. A few days later, the missing person was found at a hospital outside the area.

On 11/02/2021, officers were dispatched to the 30400 block of Blaine AVE regarding an agency assist to Sumner PD to check for whether or not a vehicle they were with was stolen. Officers found that the RO was currently incarcerated and no longer living in the residence. Officers cleared the call without incident.

On 11/02/2021, an Officer was dispatched to the 22000 block of SE 288th Street referenced to a traffic hazard (dead deer in the roadway). Upon arrival, the deer was located and removed from the roadway. Public works was notified.

On 11/3/2021, officers responded to the 31100 block of 3rd Ave for a citizen assist. The officers confirmed the subjects identity so they were able to retrieve property.

On 11/3/2021, an officer responded to the 30400 block of 3rd Ave for a report of a burglary. The suspect was caught on surveillance video. The investigation is ongoing.

On 11/3/2021, an officer received an in station report of vandalism to a vehicle that occurred in the 32900 block of Skyline Lane. There were no witnesses or suspects and the case is inactive.

On 11/3/2021, an officer was dispatched to the 31500 block of 3rd AVE for a possible DUI vehicle in the area. The officer arrived and conducted an area check but the vehicle was not located.

On 11/04/2021 Officers were dispatched to a residence in the 32800 block of Ten Trails PKWY SE in regard to a report of an assault. Officers contacted the individuals involved and determined that there was probable cause to arrest one person for DV Assault in the 4th Degree. The individual was booked into jail without incident.

On 11-04-21, at approximately 08:59 hours, Officers received a call from Valley Communication Radio regarding a possible hit and run collision in the 29200 block of 216th AVE SE. Officer contacted both parties and discovered that it was not a hit and run collision. A collision occurred; although, both parties wanted to handle the situation civilly between themselves. Both parties exchanged the necessary information and agreed to complete a collision report through the Washington State Patrol website.

On 11/4/2021, an officer responded for a civil standby for a residence in the 28900 block of 218 Ave SE. The officer was able to clarify restrictions for the subject and assist the subject with retrieving property from a different location. No civil standby occurred at the original location.

On 11/04/2021, Officers were dispatched to the 32800 block of 1st AVE in  regard to a report of a suspicious individual who set off a motion sensor security light. Officers conducted an area check and were unable to locate anyone matching the description given of the subject.

On 11/5/2021, Officers were dispatched to a found property report. Officers contacted the reporting party and learned they had found a family member’s purse in their residence containing what they believed to be an illegal substance. The reporting party had already safely secured the purse and there are no small children in the home. Officers advised the reporting party to contact their family member so they could retrieve their belongings.

On 11/05/2021, Officers were dispatched to a VIN inspection to be conducted at the request of Royal Towing. Officers verified the VIN and completed the necessary paperwork.

On 11/6/2021, Officers were dispatched for a suspicious subject in the 26200 block of Lawson ST. The reporting party advised they had discovered an unknown male laying on the porch. Officers contacted the subject and learned he had come on the porch to get out of the rain. The subject was wet and shivering. Fire came to the scene and evaluated the subject, he refused further treatment and was later given a courtesy transport to Maple Valley.
