In a free-for-all and a fun-for-all, preparations began this week for Black Diamond’s “Hometown Christmas 2022.” On Saturday, Dec. 10 from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. families are invited to join the holiday fun. Guests are encouraged to meander from the Eagles Hall parking lot to the Black Diamond Bakery, Smokehouse and More, Black Diamond Antiques, and Black Diamond Museum, all situated along Railroad Avenue.

A special event this year is an activity presented by King County Library. Also included is a treasure hunt based on the theme “train” with prizes. S’mores and visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus may be on-site favorites.

All the events at Hometown Christmas are free for children. Free entry for everyone is planned at the Black Diamond Historical Museum, also located on Railroad Avenue.
