Join them on Saturday, Dec. 3 from 4-6 p.m. for all of the fun in the Fred Meyer Parking Lot with a view of the community tree in the Don Henning Roundbout.
They have some special treats lined up including Santa and the opportunity to take photos with him; activities like making ornaments and chocolate snowballs; sugar cookie decorating; free hot cocoa, and cider; a visit from our friends in Arrendale – Anna, Elsa and Olaf; goodie bags while supplies last; festive music; visit with the fire department; lighting of the tree (at 5:15 p.m.); and more!
They will also be collecting donations for Covington’s Food Bank – The Storehouse – with the help from Land O’Frost and the Covington Youth Council, so please bring a non-perishable food item or two! And, a special thank you goes out to to our sponsors: Republic Services, Zoomcare, Fred Meyer, and Land O’Frost. Plus, thank you to our service clubs Kiwanis Club of Covington and Covington Rotary for providing refreshments and cookies and Puget Sound Fire for helping Santa ride in style!
