On 12/26/2022, Officers were dispatched to a civil issue in the 22800 block of SE Fir ST. Officers arrived on scene and made contact with the reporting party. Through the course of the investigation officers learned a written agreement had been made between the parents and there was no custodial interference. Officers were able to facilitate a compromise between both parties. Officers cleared the scene.

On 12/26/22, Officers were dispatched to a suspicious subject in the 30400 block of 3rd AVE. Officers arrived on scene, made contact, and identified the individual. Through their investigation officers learned the subject was legally in the area. Officers cleared the scene.

On 12/27/22 at approximately 11:00 Hours, Officers took an in person report at the Black Diamond Police Station, where officers documented a report of malicious mischief that occurred at the 32500 block of Buena Vista DR.

On 12/27/2022 Officers responded to a report of a single vehicle collision located on Enumclaw Black Diamonf Rd, just south of Plass Rd. A vehicle was struck by what appeared to be a cougar as it was driving southbound and the vehicle had to be towed from the scene.

On 12/27/2022 Officers responded to a report of a dispute, via phone. A caller advised that he had an argument with another citizen while walking his dog.The A report documenting the details of what occurred was made for informational purposes.

On 12/27/2022, an officer responded to the 22900 block of SE 312 ST for a report of a tree in the roadway. The officer assisted with clearing the tree from the road.

On 12/28/2022 Officers were dispatched to the 32500 block of Stuart Ave SE in regard to a parking complaint. Officers determined that no crime had been committed and that the matter was a civil dispute over a parking spot. Officers advised the involved parties of the pertinent BDMC regarding parking on public roadways.

On 12/29/2022 at approximately 16:00 hours, Officers were dispatched to a Welfare check at the 32600 block of 5th AVE. Officers contacted the reporting party who was concerned that their friend may be suicidal. According to the reporting party, the subject had made vague statements that made them feel they may inflict self harm. Officers made contact with the subject at their residence, and Officers interviewed the subject and their mother. Officers determined that the subject was not a danger to themselves or others at that time. Officers cleared the scene without incident.

On 12/29/2022 at approximately 13:10 hours, Officers were notified by phone of a commercial burglary that occurred around 06:00 hours at the 30400 block of 3rd AVE. Officers contacted the reporting party by phone and collected digital evidence. This case is currently under investigation.

On 12/30/2022, an officer responded to assist the Enumclaw Police Department in the 300 block of Roosevelt Ave with a traffic stop. The officer assisted in the investigation then cleared the scene.

On 12/29/2022 at approximately 15:00 hours, Officers responded to take an
in-person report at the Black Diamond Police Station. Officers met with a subject that complained of erosion that has occurred to a section of city roadway, that is near the subjects home. The subject also complained of speeding traffic in the 29600 block of 232nd AVE SE. Officers documented the subjects complaints and will be increasing traffic enforcement in the area of the complaint.

On 12/30/2022 at approximately 10:20 hours, Officers were notified by phone of a storage unit that was burglarized at the 30400 block of 3rd AVE. Officers contacted the reporting party by phone and conducted an interview. This case is currently under investigation.

Officers contacted the reporting party and were advised that property has been repeatedly stolen from outside of a business. The reporting party advised officers that they did not wish to pursue criminal charges at this time. Officers documented the incident.

On 12/31/2022 Officers were dispatched to a complaint of children and adults playing loudly in a park in the area of 22900 SE Evergreen St. Due to the time of day being normal hours for people to play in a park and the frequent calls of this nature by the same subject who wants to be anonymous, this call was documented for informational purposes only.

On 01/01/2023 officers responded to a noise complaint (loud music) at 25800 block of Lawson St. Officers responded to the area and were unable to locate any loud music.

On 1/1/2023 Officers responded to a request for a civil assistance via phone. A caller asked for police to do a civil standby in the area of 22400 block of SE 300th St. The caller further advised that he had been up all night, celebrating at this location and now residents at the home he had been at refused to answer the door but he wanted to get some clothing items he had left inside. The caller was advised to return later in the afternoon after he and the other residents had some sleep and could be more reasonable. The caller initially refused, so an officer went to the location. The caller left the location before officer’s arrived.
