Happy Earth Day, Tahoma! This year the fourth graders from 3 schools celebrated the occasion at the Shadow Lake Nature Preserve! This spring, these fourth graders from 3 schools got the chance to apply concepts learned in the classroom to the real world. The preserve is located on an 8,000-year-old glacial bog that contains mosses, trees and wildlife that depend on the wetlands to survive. Mr. Lee’s class from Tahoma Elementary School visited the bog last week and had a blast learning and exploring what nature has to offer! Tahoma School District News.
