William (Bill, Butch) Mathew Lambrecht Passed Away

William (Bill, Butch) Mathew Lambrecht of Federal Way, passed peacefully with his family at his side on April 24, 2023. He was 77 years old and had battled Parkinson’s Disease for many years.

Bill was born on August 17, 1945, in Billings, Montana, attended Rainier Beach High School in Seattle where he lettered in tennis and graduated from Western Washington University in Bellingham in 1965, with a teaching degree. It was in college where he met his first wife, Heather, and they later had two children, Daryl and Kendra.

After graduation, he joined the U.S. Army and was deployed to Vietnam where he served as a veterinary technician for the scout dogs in his unit. Upon his honorable discharge from the military, he went on to teach third grade at Fairwood Elementary in Renton for his entire teaching career.

He exhibited love and faith in everything he did. Fellowshipping with other Christians, reading the Bible, attending Generational Hope Christian Church, and sharing his love for the Lord filled his days. He also donated his time to tutor prisoners. A devoted fan of the Seattle Mariners and Seattle Seahawks, he rarely missed a televised baseball or football game when they played.

His wife, Patti, the love of his life, preceded Bill in death, as did his father (Bill) and mother (Tillie). He is survived by ten siblings: sisters, Patricia, and Betty; brothers Tom, Steve, Dan, Mike, David, John, Greg and Bruce; two children, Daryl and Kendra; and two grandchildren, Elias and Kita.

 Bill will be dearly missed.
