On 08/24/23 at approximately 0610 hours, an officer was dispatched to the 24000 block of Terrace Place, in reference to a theft of a motor vehicle. It was discovered the vehicle was taken overnight with no suspect information at the time of report. A case report was created and follow-up for suspect information from video evidence will be sought.

On 08/24/23 at approximately 0736 hours, an officer was dispatched to the 32000 block of Sunny Lane, in reference to a subject sleeping at a nearby park with bags and items on table. Upon arrival the subject was no longer in the area, but the property located was found to have been stolen from a nearby vehicle prowl. The owner was located and all stolen property was recovered.

It was discovered a neighbor in the complex is trapping the reporting parties cat and taking it to King County Animal Control even though they know where the cat belongs. The reporting party requested the information be documented in case further issues arise.

On 08/24/2023, Officers were dispatched to the 30800 block of 3rd AVE regarding a cone in the roadway. Officers found cones present due to an ongoing construction site with one tipped over the fog line. Officers moved the cone off the roadway and cleared the scene without incident.

On 8/24/2023, an officer located a vehicle in the 29200 block of 216 Ave SE with a reported stolen license plate on the rear. The officer stopped the vehicle and found the license plate had been swapped onto the vehicle. The vehicle’s assigned license plate had been stolen.

On 08/25/2023, Officers were dispatched to the 32100 block of Bruckners Way regarding a welfare check. Officers contacted an elderly male who seemed confused inside his residence. Officers spoke with the elderly male’s wife who informed us his mental health was declining. Medical aid was declined and the elderly male went to bed. Officers cleared the scene without incident.

On 08-25-2023, at approximately 15:30 hours, Officers were notified that a business wanted to trespass a subject who was repeatedly entering the business, staring at employees, and not buying anything. Officers responded to the business at the 32600 block of 3rd AVE and completed a Trespass Notice. Officers contacted the subject and served him a copy of the Trespass Notice.

On 08/25/2023, Officers were dispatched to the 26200 block of Lawson St regarding two unknown individuals on a city building. Upon arrival, Officers conducted a traffic stop which involved the two subjects. Officers discovered the two were juveniles. Officers contacted the parents of the juveniles by phone to inform them of the circumstances. Officers cleared the scene without incident.

While en route to the location, Officers located the subject vehicle driving from the area. Officers contacted the vehicle and spoke with the subjects. Officers contacted the reporting party and determined that no crime occurred.

On 08/26/2023 officers observed a vehicle at the 29200 block of SE 216th AVE driving without license plates affixed to the vehicle. Officers contacted the driver of the vehicle and discovered that the subject was driving with a suspended license. Officers booked the subject into Enumclaw Jail without incident.

On 08/27/2023, Officers were dispatched to the 33300 block of Evergreen Ave SE in reference to a citizen dispute. Upon contacting the caller, it was discovered they were upset about a small drone that hit the side of their house about a week prior. The caller believes it was from a young group of local kids but was uncertain. It was determined that no crime occurred.

On 08/28/2023, Officers responded to a welfare check at the 32700 block of 2nd Ave. It was found that the subject at that location had fallen and needed assistance. The fire department made forced entry into the home and then transported the subject to the Hospital.

On 08/28/2023, Officers responded to the 33200 block of Holly Ave SE reference to a fire assist. Upon arrival it was determined that an involuntary commitment was needed for a person at that location. The subject was transported to the hospital.

A caller advised there was a subject hitting a metal object against a parked tow truck in the 30800 block of Black Diamond Ravensdale Rd. Officers notified King County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO). KCSO deputies arrived took over the scene.

On 08/29/2023, an Officer was dispatched to a theft at the 330000 block of Ten Trails PKWY SE. A flag and flag stand was stolen from a yard at that location. An investigation was conducted and criminal charges (Theft 3rd) were referred to the King County Juvenile Court.

On 08/28/2023, Officers were dispatched to a suspicious subject in the 31100 block of 3rd AVE. It was reported an unidentified subject followed the reporting party home and had been yelling at him. Officers arrived on scene and made contact with the reporting party. Officers determined there was probable cause to make an arrest for harassment. Officers located the suspect, arrested him, and booked him into the Enumclaw Jail.
