Join us for our 1st annual pumpkin Race on Friday, October 13, 2023 beginning at 3:30 p.m. Get your pumpkin and make it go! Directions are listed below, there will be prizes for the winner of the race and for the best carved/decorated pumpkin!
1. Design and construct your pumpkin race car from a single real pumpkin in
any shape and size.
2. Pumpkin Race Cars can be whole or carved; outrageously decorated or just like it came from the pumpkin patch.
3. Insert two independent axles through your pumpkin and attach any type or size wheels to the axles.
4. You cannot attach your pumpkin to anything that creates a chassis of any kind such as skateboards, wagons, toys, strollers…. You get the picture.
5. Your pumpkin must be powered by the gravity from the downhill slope of
the race track; no fans, motors, explosives, pyrotechnics or PUSHING.
6. Pumpkins will race side-by-side, there is no penalty if pumpkins bump or
collide with other pumpkins, the race track walls or anything else.
7. Pumpkins will be inspected at check in and any race cars not built to race will be disqualified
8. Have fun making your Pumpkin Race Cars, be creative and let your
imagination run wild. If you don’t win you’ll at least be racing in style
