On 11/24/2023 at approximately 2220 hours, an officer was flagged down in reference to a silver sedan similar to a Ford Taurus had driven through the Lawson Hill Subdivision twice and was not recognized to live in the area. An area check by officers yielded negative results.

On 11/25/2023, officers received a FLOCK notification of a stolen vehicle driving in the 33200 block of 3rd Ave. Due to another ongoing incident, no officers were able to check for this vehicle until nearly an hour later. The vehicle was not located.

On 11/25/2023, officers received a report of a possible DUI driver in the 30600 block of 224 AVE SE. Due to another ongoing incident it was nearly forty five minutes before officers could check the area for the vehicle. The vehicle was not located.

On 11/26/2023, at approximately 17:32 hours, Officers were dispatched to a civil issue at the 32400 block of Morgan Drive. Officers arrived at the residence, and after an investigation, Officers determined no crime had been committed.

On 11/27/2023, Officers were advised of a citizen wanting contact regarding a possible theft from their storage unit at Free Up Storage. Officers made contact with the reporting party who advised between 08/01/2023 and 11/15/2023 someone had made entry into their storage unit. The reporting party could not confirm if anything was missing from their storage unit.

On 11/28/2023, officers received a FLOCK notification of a stolen license plate on a vehicle driving in the 29200 block of 216th Ave SE. Officers conducted an area check with negative results.

On 11/28/2023, officers received a FLOCK notification of a stolen license plate on a vehicle driving in the 30400 block of 3rd Ave SE. Officers conducted an area check and located a vehicle affixed with the stolen plate, which was then recovered. The owner of that vehicle then advised that his plate had apparently been stolen at an unknown time and place. Officers then entered the information on the newly stolen plate into WACIC and created a theft report for the incident.

On 11/29/2023, an Officer was at the 23500 block of Roberts Dr when there was a Flock hit for a stolen vehicle at the camera at Roberts Dr. and Ten Trails PKWY. The the vehicle was found as being towed by Royal Towing. The Officer contacted the two truck driver who stated that the vehicle had been recovered by the KCSO.
Dispatch also confirmed that it had been recovered but the Locate had not yet been sent.

On 11/29/2023, an Officer was dispatched to an attempted vehicle theft at the 25100 block of Roberts Dr. Unknown suspect broke the exterior front door locks to enter the vehicle and then damaged the steering column in attempt to steel the vehicle. A folding pocket razor knife was stolen from the interior of the vehicle.

On 11/29/2023 at 0713 hours, Black Diamond Police Department was dispatched to an Attempted Auto Theft report for a vehicle that was broken in to sometime during the previous night. Upon arriving, Police Officers conducted an investigation and documented the incident.

Upon arriving, Officers discovered the vehicle was clear, valid and belonged to a local Black Diamond resident.

On 11/29/2023 at 0857 hours, Black Diamond Police Department conducted an Attempted Automobile Theft report at the 32400 block of McKay LN. Upon arrival, Officers investigated and were able to obtain possible evidence in attempt to identify the subjects. This investigation is ongoing.

After further investigation, Officers were able to locate the owner of the found property and were advised that the items went missing after a recent vehicle prowl. This investigation is ongoing.

On 11/29/2023, an officer responded to the 32200 block of 5th Ave for a report of a vehicle prowl. The officer located an item the suspects may have touched. This item was dusted for fingerprints but none were found. A case was completed

On 11/29/23, officers observed damage to a vehicle at the 32500 block of McKay Ln. Officers contacted the registered owner of the vehicle and determined that a crime had occurred. This case is currently under investigation.
