On 12/05/23, at approximately 18:27 hours, Officers were dispatched to the 22800 block of SE Fir ST. to a suspicious person. The reporting party advised that someone attempted to open the front door to his apartment. There was no description of the subject. Officers conducted an area check and were unable to locate the subject.

On 12/06/23, officers were dispatched to the 33100 block of 3rd Ave regarding an injured deer that had been dispatched by a passerby. Officers contacted public works, who agreed to remove the deer carcass, and warned the passerby for discharging a firearm within in the city limits.

On 12/18/2023, Officers received an alert from FLOCK (automatic license plate reader) for a stolen license plate. Officers reviewed the alert and conducted a check with WACIC/NCIC confirming the plate pictured had a WACIC/NCIC record of a stolen license plate. Officers responded to the area and began conducting an area check for the vehicle. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.

On 12/18/2023, Officers were dispatched to a motor vehicle theft report in the 33000 of Holly AVE SE. Officers arrived on scene and obtained a signed motor vehicle report. The victim was able to track the location of the vehicle which showed it in the area of the Lake Wilderness apartments in Maple Valley. Officers requested King County Deputies conduct an area check. Deputies located the vehicle which was parked and unoccupied. Deputies contacted the registered owner who went to the scene and took possession of the vehicle.

On 12/22/2023 at 1820 hours, the Black Diamond Police Department was dispatched to the intersection of SE 292nd ST. and 216th AVE SE for a report of a
two-vehicle collision. Upon arrival, Officers determined that no injury had been sustained and conducted their collision incident before clearing the scene.

On 12/22/2023, officers were on scene of a collision in the 21600 block of SE 292 ST. when a second collision occurred at the same location. This collision was witnessed by officers. No injuries were reported. A collision report was completed.

On 12/22/23 at 2316 hours, the Black Diamond Police Department was dispatched to the 28700 block of SE Fir ST. for a report of a Verbal Domestic from an unrelated third-party. Upon Officers arrival, they contacted the couple in their unit and upon their findings determined a crime had not been committed and left without further incident.

On 12/23/23 at 2101 hours, the Black Diamond Police Department was dispatched to a non-emergency agency assist for the King County Sheriff’s Office at the 22800 block of SE Fir ST. KCSO requested Officer’s attempt contact with a resident to confirm information regarding a vehicle that KCSO came upon. Officers were unable to make contact and cleared the scene.

On 12/23/23 at 2301 hours, the Black Diamond Police Department was dispatched to the 22900 block of SE Cherry ST. for a report of a recently heard verbal domestic argument behind the town home units. Upon Officers arrival, they spoke with the reporting party and conducted an area check and was unable to determine if a crime was committed and was unable to locate any nearby parties in distress. Officers cleared the scene without incident.
