On 3/18/2024, an officer made a traffic stop in the 23400 block of Roberts Drive. The officer found the vehicle owner had not transferred the title of the vehicle, and the vehicle’s title was canceled. The driver was cited and released.

On 03/18/2024, Officers were dispatched to a phone report regarding a theft of a cell-phone that had occurred prior in the 32800 block of Railroad Ave. A caller advised they were calling on behalf of the victim and informed the phone’s location was showing at an address in unincorporated King County. The caller advised there was no suspect description. A further investigation found the cell-phone had been shut off. This case will be closed pending the development of further suspect description.

On 3/19/2024, Officers were dispatched to the 30400 block of 3rd AVE for a theft in progress. Officers were able to locate the suspect and make contact. Through the subsequent investigation Officers developed probable cause to arrest the suspect for burglary in the 2nd degree and possession of stolen motor vehicle. The suspect was booked into King County Correctional Facility.

On 03/20/2024 Officers were dispatched to a business in the 31100 block of 3rd AVE in regard to a request for a citizen assist. Officers escorted an individual who needed to retrieve personal belongings from an impounded vehicle.

On 03/21/2024 Officers responded to Kentlake High School in regard to a threatening phone call received at the Police Department. Officers briefed School personnel regarding the nature of the incident and remained on scene until King County Deputies arrived. The call was determined to not be a credible threat.

On 03/22/2024, at approximately 00:52 hours, Officers were dispatched to a shooting at the 30400 block of 227th PL SE. Officers recognized the address and were familiar with previous incidents of false reporting high priority calls in an attempt to “swat” the residence. Officers contacted parties inside the residence and determined that no crime was committed. This incident is part of a related ongoing investigation.

On 03/23/2024, Officers initiated a traffic stop in the 22700 block of Roberts Dr of a vehicle associated to a registered owner with a suspended license. A subsequent investigation found the driver was the same as the registered owner. A criminal citation was then issued to the driver. Officers provided the driver with further instructions and cleared the scene without incident.

On 03/23/2024, Officers were dispatched to the 32300 block of Morgan Dr regarding a physical domestic. A caller advised they along with their friend had been assaulted. A subsequent investigation found multiple crimes were committed. A male was taken into custody and booked into King County Jail. Additional charging information has been forwarded to the King County Prosecutor and a petition for an Extreme Risk Protection Order has been filed.
