On 08/12/2024, Officers were dispatched to an occupied suspicious vehicle at the 25200 block of Kanaskat Dr. Upon arrival the vehicle was located and it was determined that the occupant lived in the neighborhood.

On 08/12/2024, officers received an e-mail from Black Diamond police Administrative assistants regarding a trespassing that occurred at the 33000 block of Pacific St. Officers contacted the reporting party and investigated the incident.

On 08/13/2024, at approximately 00:40 hours, officers conducted a traffic stop in the 26700 block of SE Green River Gorge RD. Officers discovered that the driver’s license was Suspended/Revoked 3rd Degree with an Ignition Interlock Device restriction. The driver was booked into the Enumclaw Jail for DWLS 3rd Degree and Ignition Interlock Violation.

On 08-13-24, at approximately 07:08 hours, an Officer was traveling north on 3rd AVE. A black Ford Mustang was traveling south on 3rd AVE at a high rate of speed. The Officer received a radar reading of 80mph in a posted 35mph zone. The Officer caught up to the vehicle at approximately Lawson ST and 3rd AVE. The vehicle did not stop for the Officer and continued south on 3rd AVE. As soon as the vehicle began accelerating at a high rate of speed and passing vehicles, the Officer discontinued all efforts to stop the vehicle. Shortly there after, the vehicle was seen passing a vehicle traveling south on the shoulder of the road. The vehicle then lost control and struck the dirt embankment on the north side of the road, causing the driver to be ejected. The driver was pronounced deceased a the scene.

On 08-15-24, at approximately 09:28 hours, Officer’s received a call from Valley Communication Radio regarding a disabled vehicle in the round-a-bout at the Lake Sawyer RD and Roberts DR. Officers arrived and found the disabled vehicle in the round-a-bout with a broken front axle. Officer’s called a tow truck for the driver and conducted traffic control until the tow truck arrived.

On 08/15/2024, Officers were notified by Black Diamond administrative assistants of a noise complaint at the 32400 block of 236th Ave SE. Officers contacted the reporting party, who advised officers of an ongoing issue with their neighbor’s barking dog. Officers contacted the reporting party’s neighbor. They advised they would bring their dog indoors when it barks continuously.

On 08/15/24, officers were advised by Black Diamond administrative assistants of a Black Diamond Warrant subject that was being released from Kent jail. Officers took custody of the subject at Kent jail and booked the subject into Enumclaw jail on their warrants.

On 08/15/2024, at approximately 22:50 hours, officers conducted a traffic stop at the 31500 block of 3rd AVE. Officers discovered that the driver had a license that was Suspended/Revoked 3rd Degree. Officers issued the driver a criminal citation for DWLS 3rd Degree.

On 08/16/2024 Officers were dispatched to the 33000 block of Skyline LN in regard to a report of drones being flown in the area. Officers contacted the licensed operator of the drone who had been hired to conduct an aerial search for a missing pet.

On 08/17/2024, at approximately 03:00 hours, officers conducted a traffic stop in the 33200 block of Enumclaw Black Diamond RD SE. During an investigation, officers discovered that the passenger of the vehicle had a misdemeanor warrant out of the Enumclaw Police Department. The driver of the vehicle was issued a notice of infraction, and the passenger of the vehicle was transported to the Enumclaw Jail for the warrant.

On 08/17/2024 at approximately 1909 hours, an officer located a vehicle parked improperly in a handicap parking space in the 23250 SE 312th St. A parking ticket was issued on scene.

On 08/19/2024, Officers responded to 32115 Morgan Dr reference to a domestic violence call. An investigation was conducted and the suspect was arrested and transported to the King County Jail.

On 08/18/2024 at approximately 1906, an officer was dispatched to the intersection of Roberts Drive and Main Street in reference to a fire assist. It was discovered fire personnel was with an impaired driver, whom they contacted checking their welfare. Through investigation it was found the driver was impaired and was taken into custody for DUI Physical Control.
