On 01/05/2025, an Officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle at the 23900 block of Roberts Drive for expired tabs. It was found that the driver’s license was DWLS 3rd Degree. The driver was issued a criminal traffic citation.

On 1/7/2026, an officer responded to the 25400 block of Cumberland Way for a report of an illegal discharge. The officer found a verbal domestic dispute in progress. The officer was able to calm the involved parties who agreed to separate for the remainder of the night.

On 01-07-26, at approximately 09:20 hours, Officers stopped a female for driving 60 mph in a posted 35 mph zone on SE 288th ST. The female driver was cited for driving while license suspended third degree, violation of ignition interlock device, speeding and no insurance.

On 01/07/2026 at approximately 1555, officer contacted a subject in Black Diamond Municipal Court who had an outstanding warrant. The warrant was not confirmed and officer advised the subject to address the warrant directly.

On 01/07/2026 at approximately 1839 hours, officers were dispatched to the 32000 block of Stuart Ave SE, in reference to a welfare on a subject who had been communicating with a crisis hot line for thoughts of self-harm. Officers contacted the subject and their family on scene and determined criteria for involuntary mental health assessment was not met. The subject and their family were working through a plan already in place.

On 01/07/2026 at approximately 1600 hours an officer was notified of a Protection Order which was received and to be served in the 22000 block of SE Fir Street. An officer contacted the subject and served the order without issue or delay.

On 01-08-26, at approximately 08:58 hours, Officers received a call from Valley Communication Radio regarding a two vehicle collision in the 31000 block of 228th AVE SE. Officers arrived at the scene and completed a collision investigation. Both driver’s drove their vehicles away from the scene.

On 01/08/2026, an Officer responded to the 30400 block of 227th Place reference to a theft/malicious mischief. The victim advised that she has 2 homes on her property both with their own mailbox. The victim advised that sometime in the last 24 hours, somebody damaged both of the mailboxes by prying them open and stole mail out of 1 of them.

On 01/09/2026, Officers responded to a citizen request for a welfare check on a community member. It was reported the individual had missed a scheduled event, was not answering their phone, and was not answering their door at home. Officers conducted a welfare check in the 33800 block of Buckeye AVE SE. Officers cut a small padlock on a gate and made access into the residence through the back door. No one was home, at a later time officers contacted the homeowner and informed them of what had occurred.

On 1/10/2025 at 0224 hours, an Officer located a damaged stop sign/ street sign that had been struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Third Avenue and Jones Lake RD. Officer’s attempted to locate the suspect vehicle but were unsuccessful. Officer’s posted a temporary stop sign for the time being and notified Public Works of the damage.

On 01/11/2026, Officers were dispatched to a civil issue to be handled by phone. Officers made contact with the reporting party who advised officers he is the respondent on an order. He advised the petitioner has been sending him text messages and threatening to destroy his property. In an effort to prevent a crime from occurring officers contacted the other party and discussed the situation. Officers cleared the scene without incident.
