On 07/12/2021, officers served an order of protection on a subject located near the 25700 block of Cumberland WAY. The subject was allowed to take some personal belongings and transported to a location outside the city. Officers cleared the call without incident.

On 7/12/2021, an officer was contacted at the Black Diamond Police Department regarding a found cell phone. The officer was able to identify the owner and contacted a family member to advise them the phone was found. The phone was placed into evidence for safekeeping until the owner is able to retrieve it.

On 7/12/2021, an officer responded to the 29600 block of 232 AVE SE for a report of an open door on a shed. The officer responded and verified no one was in the shed. Nothing was missing from the shed and it appeared to be an oversight.

On 07-13-21, at approximately 06:21 hours, Officers received a call from Valley Communication Radio regarding a commercial burglary at a business in the 24200 block of Roberts DR. Officers arrived at the scene and discovered that numerous items were stolen from the business. King County AFIS obtained fingerprints from the scene and Officers conducted their burglary investigation. There is no suspect information at this time.

On 7/13/2021, an officer was dispatched to 31200 block of 3rd AVE regarding a civil standby. A male subject wanted access to a vehicle in the custody of Royal Towing of Black Diamond. The subject was unable to prove ownership of the vehicle and officers cleared the scene without incident.

On 7/14/2021,an officer was dispatched to the 31100 block of 3rd AVE regarding a vendor refusing to leave. The RP advised that he just wanted the subject to move along. Upon arrival, the vender was contacted and was provide information on how to get a permit with the city. He than left the area without incident.

On 7/14/2021, Officers were dispatched to the 32500 block of McKay LN regarding a possible theft of a firearm and keys. The RP advised that his wife possibly stole the items. The investigation determine that, the firearm was moved to another location to prevent the kids from accessing it. The firearm was located, and the wife left the scene with the kids because she advised that she would not be in a house with a firearm. The couple are currently going through a divorce. No crime was reported during this incident.

On 07/18/2021, officers were dispatched to the area of Evergreen AVE SE and SE Redwood ST regarding a potential theft. The reporting party, a passerby, advised that two subjects were seen loading lumber into a vehicle from a construction site. Upon arrival and area check, officers were unable to located the vehicle. This is currently under investigation.

On 07/18/2021, officers were dispatched to the 29000 block of 216th AVE SE regarding an unwanted subject on the premises. Upon arrival, the subject chose to walk off. The employee did not want to trespass the subject so officers cleared the call without taking action.

On 7/18/2021, officers responded to the 32900 block of Railroad Ave for a residential burglary report. Sometime in the prior week a shop was broken into and items were staged to be removed later. Nothing appeared to have been already taken. There are no suspects and no leads.

On 7/18/2021, an officer responded to Lake Sawyer for a marine complaint of a jet ski speeding after hours. The officer checked the lake and did not find any speeding water craft.

On 07/18/2021, Officers were dispatched to the 32500 block of 3rd Ave reference to a noise complaint. Upon arrival, loud music was located. Contact was made with the persons playing the loud music and they turned it down.

On 07/18/2021, an Officer was dispatched to the 33100 block of Glacier Ave SE reference to a parking complaint. Two vehicles were parked inside of 15 feet of a fire hydrant. The vehicle owners were located and the vehicle’s were moved.
