On Wednesday, June 7th high schools in and around the area descended on Pacific Raceways for the 52nd Annual All High School Drags. Students as well as Alumni came out to take on the Northwest quarter mile. One of the popular events of the night was the “Beat the Heat” races where the drivers got their chance to see if they could outrun the “Law” as they competed against the King County Sheriff and their vehicles. Above in his BMW is Hayden Ball a Junior from Tahoma High School in Maple Valley.
This being his first time on a drag strip turned in a respectable 16+ for his time. He was asked what his parents thought about him racing and said they were there watching him compete. Hayden is looking into the field of graphic design after he graduates. We wish him the best.
