Julu 6 to 13, 2024

On 07/06/2024, Officers were dispatched to a parking complaint in the 22400 block of SE 296th ST. Officers arrived on scene and observed a truck with attached boat trailer parked in a clearly marked no parking zone. Officers requested a tow to the scene to impound the vehicle. Prior to the tow truck arriving the registered owner of the vehicle returned and promptly moved his vehicle. Officers issued a warning for parking in the no parking zone.

On 07/06/2024 at approximately 2039 hours, officers were dispatched to the 32000 block of Abrams Ave, in reference to a physical domestic. Upon arrival it was discovered a male left the location when police were being called. Probable cause was established for the male for DV Assault in the 4th Degree. The subject was located by an assisting outside law enforcement agency and taken into custody by black diamond officers, then was booked into a jail facility.

On 7/7/2024, officers came across a disabled vehicle in the 31600 block of 3rd Ave. The hitch on a trailer that was being towed failed and broke. The driver was able to secure the trailer well enough to move it out of the roadway. The officers provided traffic control so the vehicle and trailer could be slowly and safely moved out of the roadway.

On 07/08/2024, Officers were dispatched to a parking complaint in the 31100 block of 3rd AVE. Officers arrived on scene and observed a vehicle with no disabled parking placard and standard WA license plates parked in a clearly marked and signed disabled parking space. Officers issued an infraction and secured it to the vehicle.

On 07/08/2024 at approximately 2034 hours, officers located a vehicle in the 22400 SE 296th Street, of which the registered owner had an outstanding misdemeanor warrant from an outside agency. An officer located the registered owner on foot in the area and made contact. Upon the warrant being confirmed the subject was taken into custody and booked on the warrant with no issues.

On 07-11-24, at approximately 13:16 hours, Officers received a call from Valley Communication Radio regarding a civil issue between two neighbors.  Officers were informed that a male subject called to report that his blackberry bushes were growing through his fence into his neighbor’s yard and his neighbor threatened to cut them down. Officers spoke with both parties on the telephone and a both parties came to a resolution.

On 7/11/2024 at 2254 hours, the Black Diamond Police Department conducted a traffic stop with a vehicle with expired registration over a year old and discovered the registered owner had a suspended driver’s license. Upon contacting the driver, they discovered it was the registered owner. Officer’s cited the driver for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license but gave a verbal warning for the expired tabs.

On 7/12/2024, officers responded to the 30600 block of 224 Ave SE for a residential burglary report. The incident appears to have been targeted. The burglary is under investigation.

On 07/12/2024, at approximately 22:55 hours, officers conducted a traffic stop at the 32600 block of 3rd AVE. Officers discovered that the driver’s license was Revoked in the 1st Degree. After further investigation, officers determined that the driver was under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. The driver was arrested and booked into the Enumclaw Jail for DUI, DWLS 1st Degree, and Ignition Interlock Violation.

On 07/13/2024 at approximately 2109 hours, officers were dispatched to the 32000 block of 3rd Ave in reference to a noise complaint of music from the location. A responsible party who rented the facility for a party was identified and was given a verbal warning to turn the music down.

On 7/14/2024, an officer located a suspect to a prior incident in the 31100 block of 3rd Ave. The officer conducted a social contact until it was found the subject had a warrant for their arrest. The subject was detained. The agency issuing the arrest warrant declined to book the subject. The subject was released.
