Story of Family, Faith, Courage Shows at SVLC
November 10, 2018 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
On Saturday, Nov. 10 at 7:00 p.m. Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church(SVLC) in Maple Valley will host a public screening of “This Day Forward”. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Refreshments will be served and the movie starts promptly at 7:00. It lasts about an hour and a half.
While the movie tells the personal story of the Jensen family, the themes are relatable to everyone who finds themselves in the midst of life challenges that were never anticipated, facing both faith and fear. Mike’s wife and primary caregiver, Jen, and the director of the movie, Brian, will be present at the SVLC screening. There will be a 45-minute personal conversation with them following the movie.
The movie is free, but a suggested donation of $10 per person will be accepted. Donations go towards telling additional similar stories and towards helping to clear the Jensen family of medical debt. The film is 100% philanthropic and no filmmaker or financier will profit from it.
Those who wish to learn more about the movie can view the trailer and read reviews from others who have seen it, in addition to a screening of interviews with the cast, family and production team at www.thisdayforwardmovie.com.
The general public is encouraged to join the screening and conversation this upcoming Saturday, Nov. 10. SVLC is located at 23855 SE 216thStreet in Maple Valley.
