Donald and Beverly (Johnson) Hart Passed Away

Donald Hart, 79 of Maple Valley,

 passed away on January 20, 2018.

Don was born on April 29, 1938 in Alden, Michigan to Walter and Ione (Finch) Hart. He spent his childhood in Michigan and Oregon and graduated from Mosier High School in 1957. He moved to Renton to work for Boeing and he travelled the world while working as part of their AOG crew. Eventually, Don retired after more than 40 years of distinguished employment.

Beverly (Johnson) Hart, 78 of Maple Valley,

 passed away on November 6, 2017.

Bev was born July 1, 1939 in Ketchikan, Alaska to William and Sophie (Lapinski) Johnson.  Bev’s family returned to Maple Valley where she, like both of her parents, graduated from Tahoma High School (1957). Bev worked as a bookkeeper for John W. Simunds, DDS over 35 years.  A Memorial Service was held on November 11, 2017.

Don and Bev met at the Renton Church of the Nazarene when they were in their early twenties and as lifelong members were actively involved in the ministries of the church.

Don and Bev were married for 58 years.  Don passed away only two shorts months from the time Bev went to be with her Lord.  They are survived by their three daughters, Roxie (Steve) Clement, Karen (Tim) Sheppard and Denise (Jeff) Baesler, nine grandchildren and five great-grandsons.

Don’s Memorial Service will be held at the Renton Church of the Nazarene on February 10, 2018 at 1:00 pm.
