Visitors can enjoy the vibrant summer garden colors found at the Lake Wilderness Arboretum on this free guided tour on August 19th from 10:00-11:00 a.m. The tour will be led by Patty Davis, a former Lake Wilderness Arboretum Foundation president. The Arboretum’s collection of nearly 80 hydrangeas are now in full bloom. Patty will lead visitors on an easy walking tour that will feature this collection as well as the Arboretum’s lovely fuchsia collection, which is also in full bloom.
The tour will begin at the Arboretum’s nursery and is free and open to the public. The Arboretum is located at 22520 SE 248th St. in Maple Valley, adjacent to Lake Wilderness Park. See www.lakewildernessarboretum.org for more information
