Monday, February 26 – After hearing from two-dozen speakers, the Council adopted legislation, establishing requirements for how agencies, offices and employees will provide services to immigrants, including requirements for the department of adult and juvenile detention honoring of federal administrative detainers.

Also unanimously approved was an ordinance authorizing the establishment and implementation of a program to fund city projects that reduce energy demand.
