National Night Out Against Crime is quickly approaching (Tuesday August, 7th)! We will be sending King County Sheriff’s deputies and personnel out to those communities participating in National Night Out. This is a great opportunity for us to meet with residents and discuss crime and other police issues, along with building friendships to support crime prevention and crime fighting efforts.
Please email micki.christensen@kingcounty.gov;and let me know if you are planning to have a National Night Out event in your neighborhood. If you are, please let me know the following:
- Name of your neighborhood
- The physical address where you plan to hold the event
- Contact name, phone number and email address
- Any special activities planned during the event
- Approximately how many people you expect to have in attendance
- The best time for an officer to stop by
I realize that this is a few months away, but I’m trying to secure units to attend and I need to get my bid in by the end of June. I look forward to hearing from you!
