Spaghetti Feed Coming to Town September 15

On the menu for fun times in Black Diamond is “Spaghetti Feed Dinner and Dance Fundraiser” on Saturday, Sept 15.  While the spaghetti feed alone is expected to be a welcome and well-attended community meal, the 5½ hour program is the main fundraiser for bringing holiday joy into children’s lives.

Benefactor of the spaghetti dinner is “Hometown Christmas,” a special Black Diamond children’s celebration in December. The fundraiser spaghetti feed provides proceeds that make “Hometown Christmas” possible. “Hometown” offers specially designed, relevant children’s activities in a day long array of free holiday events. They take place at a variety of businesses and locations along Railroad Avenue.

Spaghetti Feed Dinner and Dance Fundraiser will be held at Black Diamond Eagles Hall. Dinnertime menu is served from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m.The menu includes spaghetti with garlic bread, salad, brownies and a variety of drinks, including tea and lemonade. Cost is $15 for adults. There is no cost for children under age five. Only cash is accepted. An array of unique raffle items will be on display for fundraiser purchase. Live music and dancing from 8:00 to 10:00 p.m. features Lincoln Pinn. All proceeds from Spaghetti Feed Dinner and Dance Fundraiser go toward “Hometown Christmas” on December 8.
