“The Adventure Continues” was the theme for Black Diamond’s 2018 Labor Day Parade. It also described the journey of Queen Leila Scharf with Princesses Audrey Stanley and Lana Porter as they rode the parade route alongside Black Diamond Elementary School.
Parade entrant winners included: first place in Youth Category – Haunted Forest of Maple Valley; second place – Cascade Youth Circus and Summit Kidnastics; Music Category first place – Sons and Daughters of the American Revolution Fife and Drum Corps; Float/Vehicle Category first place – Sons of Norway Vesterdalen Lodge. ‘Nita Rinehart served as parade coordinator.
