A suspicious activity report delayed the release of Glacier Park Elementary School today (Friday). The school received word that there might be an attempted house burglary in close proximity to the school.
We held students at school for about 10 minutes while police checked the area. When officers let us know that the area was clear and safe, we released buses and students who walk home. Police said the burglary report was erroneous.
