Dec. 23 to 29, 2019

On 12/23/2109, an officer took theft report of construction equipment that was stolen from a home under construction in the 28800 block of 223rd LN SE. There are no suspects at this time.

On 12/23/2019, an officer took a report of a door being damaged on a home under construction in the 28800 block of 230th LN SE.  There are no suspects.

On 12/23/2019, an officer took a report of a door being damaged on a home under construction in the 28800 block of 224th AVE SE. There are no suspects.

On 12/23/2019, officers responded to the 24500 block of Morgan Street for a welfare check on two children. The children were found to be healthy and safe.

On 12-21-2019, at approximately 0233 hours, officers were requested to the scene of an armed robbery near 600 Ellingson RD in Pacific to aid in scene documentation and security. Officers aided in securing the residence where the suspects were arrested and documented the scene.

On 12/24/2019 officers were dispatched to the 32700 block of Abrams Avenue for a vehicle off the roadway into the creek. Upon arrival officers found a truck partially submerged and unoccupied. Contact was made with the registered owner who advised her son had driven off the roadway during the night. A Washington State Patrol accident report was completed, and the vehicle was eventually pulled from the creek by Royal Towing after the Department of Ecology arrived on scene to contain a small oil leak.

On 12/24/2019 an officer served court papers in the 32500 block of New Castle Drive. The return of service paperwork was forwarded to Black Diamond Records for WACIC entry.

On 12-25-19, at approximately 0013 hours, Black Diamond Officers were dispatched to a suicidal subject in the 32300 block of 3rd AVE. Officers arrived on scene and made contact with the subject. Officers learned the subject made a suicidal statement while in a verbal dispute with his significant other. Due to the statement the subject was involuntarily committed and transported from the scene by Tri-Med to the nearest medical facility.

On Wednesday, 12/25/2019 Officers were dispatched to the 25123 block of Roberts DR in regard to a report of an individual who had taken a firearm from a family member’s residence. Officers were able to locate the individual and he was arrested and booked into King County Jail without incident.

On 12/27/2019, an officer located an apparently abandoned RV in the 31100 block of 3rd Ave. A 24 hour impound notice was placed on the trailer. The trailer was later impounded to Royal Towing.

On 12/28/19, at about 1357 hours, Officers were dispatched and responded to the area of Railroad AVE and Merino ST regarding a Quad bring driven by juveniles on the road. Officers located the Quad at a residence in the 32800 block of Commission AVE. Officers spoke with a parent and advised him of the rules regarding the Quad being on the road.

On 12/28/19, at about 1512 hours, Officers located a warrant subject in the 21700 block of SE 294th ST. The subject had two unconfirmed warrants out of the City of Black Diamond. The warrants were confirmed and the subject was booked into the Enumclaw Jail without incident.

On 12/28/19, at about 2156 hours, an officer located a loose dog running in the street at the intersection of Sunny Ln and Roberts DR. The officer contacted the friendly dog. Immediately there after, the officer heard the owner calling for the dog about a block away. The dog, who had escaped from the yard was reunited with its owner.

On 12/29/2019, an officer responded to the 23300 block of SE 289 ST for an abandoned vehicle. The owner was contacted, and stated the vehicle had broken down. The owner was making arrangements to have the vehicle towed.

On 12-29-2019, at approximately, Officers located a citizen’s personal property in the parking lot of the Police Department. Officers attempted to make contact with the subject but were unable to do so. The property was booked into evidence for safekeeping.
