Black Diamond Police Reports

On 2/26/2024, an officer received a report of a piece of a firearm that was found in the 24300 block of Roberts Drive. The officer identified the owner, but attempts to contact the owner were unsuccessful.

On 02/27/2024, Officers received a FLOCK notification on a stolen license plate at the 30700 block of 3rd AVE SE. Officers checked the area and located a vehicle matching the description on the FLOCK notification and determined the plate matched. Contact was made with the driver and it was determined the plate was recovered by the owner, but law enforcement was not notified.

On 02/27/2024, Officer were dispatched to a single vehicle collision at the 22200 block of SE 295th Pl. Upon arrival, it was confirmed to be a single vehicle collision and that the driver sustained injuries.  The driver was transported to the hospital. A Washington State Collision report was completed.

On 02/27/2024, Officers responded to a suspicious vehicle at the 30400 block of 3rd Ave. There was a Flock camera hit at that location for a van with a stolen license plate. An area check was conducted and the vehicle was not located.

On 02/27/24, officers were dispatched to take a report regarding a possible order violation that occurred at the 32200 block of  Morgan DR. Officers conducted a record check of the involved parties and did not find any active orders between the two involved.

On 3/4/2024, officers responded to the 31000 block of 228 AVE SE to assist the King County Sheriff’s Office with contacting the registered owner of a vehicle. Officers found the subject no longer lived at the location. Officers obtained updated contact information which was forwarded to the Sheriff’s Office.

On 02/28/24, an off duty police officer observed a collision at the 31500 block of 3rd Ave. Officers requested medical personnel to evaluate a driver for injuries and found none. Officers completed a collision report, provided the involved parties with an exchange of information, and issued the at fault driver a citation.

On 02/29/2024, at approximately 02:41 hours, Officers were conducting routine patrol in the 23500 block of SE Jasmine ST. Officers observed a residence whose garage was open, and a vehicle inside the garage had its hood open. Officers contacted the homeowners, who advised that everything was okay. Officers cleared without incident.

On 02/29/2024 Officers responded to a business in the 30700 block of 3rd AVE in regard to a report of a natural gas leak in the building. Officers stood by on scene while Mountain View Fire personnel conducted a check of the structure for a leak. Officers cleared the scene without incident.

On 02/29/2024, Officers responded to the 31500 Lake Sawyer RD in regard to a Flock camera hit for a vehicle with a stolen license plate. An area check was conducted but the vehicle was not located.

On 03/01/24, officers were dispatched to assist the Enumclaw Police Department in locating a DUI suspect. Officers conducted a check of the area and assisted in maintaining a perimeter and the arrest of the suspect.

On 03/01/24, officers were dispatched to a illegal discharge that occurred at the 22500 block of 300th St. Officers conducted an area check but were unable to locate the source of the noise and there were no other calls about the incident.

On 03/01/2024 Officers responded to a business in the 31100 block of 3rd AVE where Officers assisted with verifying a VIN number on an impounded vehicle.

On 3/1/24 at 1906 hours, the Black Diamond Police Department conducted an area check of the city for a stolen white Chevrolet Express van that had passed Flock Camera #4 at SR 169 and Plass RD, traveling northbound. The Auburn Police Department took the initial report and input the vehicle as stolen on 2/21/24. Officer’s were unable to locate the vehicle within city limits and cleared the call. The vehicle continues to be outstanding.

On 03/1/2024, Officers were dispatched to the 29000 block of 216th Ave SE regarding two subjects possibly using drugs in a blue vehicle in the parking lot. Officers initiated a stop of the vehicle. A subsequent investigation determined there was no crime involved. Officers cleared the scene without incident.
