Black Diamond Police Reports

On 01/22/2024, Officer responded to a vehicle accident at the 24100 block of Roberts Drive. Upon arrival, it was determined that the accident took place in Maple Valley, Washington. Ma-ple Valley/KCSO was notified and a Deputy responded to the scene.  Upon the Deputies arri-val, this case was turned over to him.

On 1/22/24 at 1452 hours, the Black Diamond Police Department conducted a threat report that occurred near the 29000 block of 216th Ave SE. After attempting an investigation for the threat made, the reporting party stated they wanted to stay anonymous and not press charges if crime was found to have occurred.

On 01/23/24, officers were dispatched to an attempted theft in progress that occurred at the 32100 Union DR. Officers investigated the scene, and observed the suspects in the area. Up-on locating the suspects, they ran into a resident’s yard. Officers attempted locate the indi-viduals, but were unsuccessful.

On 01/23/2024, an Officer was dispatched to a vehicle prowl at 32200 block of Sunny Ln.  The complainant advised that their unlocked vehicle was entered and her purse was stolen.

On 01/23/2024, an officer responded to the 25500 block of Lawson St reference to a theft. The complainant advised that sometime over the last few days the rear plate to her vehicle was stolen. The stolen plate information was entered into WACIS/NCIC as stolen.

On 1/23/2024, an officer responded to the 32100 block of Sunny Lane for a report of a vehicle prowl. There was nothing missing from the vehicle. Two suspects were captured on surveil-lance footage.

On 01/23/2024 at approximately 1347 hours, officers were dispatched to the 22400 block of SE 288th St in reference to a suspicious garment hanging on a fence. Upon checking the area and not locating the garment, the reporting party was contacted by phone. It was determined the area of the garment was not the intersection reported and was near Lake Holm.

On 01/25/24, officers were dispatched to a verbal domestic in progress that occurred at the 31100 block of 3rd AVE. Officers investigated the incident and determined that no crime had been committed.

On 01/25/2024 Officers were dispatched to the 25510 block of Lawson ST in regard to a report of a loose dog acting aggressively. Officers located the dog in the 32600 block of 5th AVE. While attempting to approach the dog, an Officer was bitten. The incident was forwarded to King County Animal Control, who later advised the dog’s owner that they would be cited for the loose dog and bite.

On 01/25/2024 Officers were dispatched to the 22800 block of SE Fir ST in regard to a request for assistance from an outside agency. Officers provided scene control while an arrest was made, with one subject taken into custody without incident.

On 01-25-24, at approximately 12:33 hours, Officers received a telephone call from the Black Diamond Police Department informing Officers that a female was in the lobby and was re-questing a civil standby at her residence.  Officers met with the female and then followed her to the residence. Officers stood by while the female removed some of her personal belongings from the residence.  Officers cleared the residence at approximately 13:09 hours.

On 01/25/2024 at approximately 1100 hours, an officer was requested to contact a resident by phone in reference to a fraud. The resident was found to have been contacted by phone, with circumstances leading them to have money taken from their a bank account. An investi-gation into the incident has been started.

On 1/25/2024, officers served a protection order on a subject in the 32900 block of Lookout Lane.

On 1/28/2024 an Officer responded to a request for a citizen assist in the 30400 block of 3rd Ave. A caller advised they were stuck inside the fenced portion of a facility after the automatic nightly timed locks activated. The officer assisted in opening the fence and cleared the scene without incident.

On 02/01/2024 Officers were dispathced to an apartment complex located in the 22800 block of SE Fir ST in regard to a report from a maintenance worker who had noticed a broken win-dow on an unoccupied apartment. Officers

On 2/1/2024, an officer received a report of a vehicle theft from the 22800 block of SE Fir St. There are no current leads.

On 2/1/2024, an officer responded to the 30000 block of 224 AVE SE for a report of a vehicle driving at a high rate of speed. No license plate number was provided for the vehicle. The of-ficer checked the area but was unable to locate the vehicle.

On 2/2/24 at 1430 hours, the Black Diamond Police Department was dispatched to the 31100 block of 3rd Avenue for a Welfare Check. Upon contacting the residence, Police were unable to locate the homeowner and unable to determine if the homeowner was still residing at the property. Police made contact with the property manager and cleared the scene.

On 02/02/2024 Officers were dispatched to the 25200 block of Merino ST in regard to a traffic complaint. Officers determined that the activity was occurring on private property and no crime had been committed. Officers advised the involved parties on resolving the issue as a civil matter.

On 02/02/2024, at approximately 21:19 hours, Officers conducted a traffic stop at the 24400 block of Roberts DR. Officers discovered that the driver was required to be operating the ve-hicle with an Ignition Interlock device. Officers also discovered that the driver’s license was Suspended/Revoked 3rd Degree. The driver was administratively booked into the Enumclaw Jail on those charges.

On 02/02/2024, Officers were dispatched to the 32100 block of Sunny Ln regarding a suspi-cious vehicle. A caller advised they observed a car driving in the area with a subject that had exited to check a door handle on a parked vehicle. Officers conducted an area check and found negative results of the suspicious vehicle.
